Her story is one of failed parenting and the abuse of innocence. A prominent figure in her life is her biological father, Cliff Sevakis. Cliff fathered Suzanne with his wife Sandra “Sandi” Chipman (now Willett). They were reportedly married for a short time. It is believed that Cliff only discovered he had a daughter after 2010.

However, other accounts suggest that he knew he had a daughter and chose to give full custody to his then-wife Sandra after Sandra married her second husband, possibly Dennis Brandenburg. Sandra is also reported to have made him sign a document allowing him to relinquish parental rights.

Cliff’s father was born on January 15, 1922, in Detroit to Edith and Ignace Sevakis. Ray lost his parents at the age of 12 and trained as a mold and tool maker at Ford’s Trade School. He served his country as an aircraft mechanic during World War II. He returned home to raise a family and spent several years in night school earning his high school diploma and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Laurence Institute of Technology.

Ray also worked in the automotive industry and went to work for Ford Motor Company as one of the pioneering software engineers for computer-aided design. He loved his job and did not fully retire until he was 78 years old.

In addition to Cliff, Ray and Lillian also have a daughter named Nancy (Wayne’s husband) Brimhall.
