HGTV viewers met Gerardo Cornejo on Lakefront Empire, who is married to his wife Staci Cornejo. They have been married for 13 years; and exchanged wedding vows on August 27, 2011.
In August 2020, Gerardo and Staci celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary. “Happy anniversary to my best friend, the man who made me a wife and the man who made me a mother to the cutest little turkeys!!! He believes there is no place like the Lake of the Ozarks. He told HGTV that he “always wanted to be a husband” and that he and his wife paid $23,000 for their first home, which they later sold.
“The cheapest house I ever sold was to myself! My wife and I placed an extremely low bid on a house that needed a lot of renovation. We bought it for $23,000, fixed it up and then turned it into one of the first short-term and long-term rental homes in Jefferson City, Missouri,” Gerardo told HGTV.
Gerardo loved being on the show. “The crew made filming the show an unforgettable experience,” Gerardo said. “They showed great respect for me, my clients and the homes we filmed. Our lunch conversation was epic.”
