Luckily, she’s not the only foreigner in the country, as Madison, an American obsessed with K-pop and Korean culture — played by Jocelyn — is living in South Korea.

Sadly, Jocelyn’s grandmother, Dolores Shelfo, passed away on June 11, 2020, after giving us 85 years of life. She was a bright and erudite young woman, as well as a top athlete; a basketball player, pitcher, and field hockey player, just to name a few. She graduated from Lindenhurst High School and attended Adelphi University on scholarship, where she was a Tri Delta, named May Queen, and earned a degree in physical education.

Dolores then met her husband Bill in Lindenhurst Village, and after marrying on April 5, 1959, they spent most of their lives on Long Island, New York before moving to Georgia in 2010.
