Meet the Clinton Kane Family
TikTok musician Clinton Kane, real name “Clinton Concon,” promoted his debut album Maybe Someday It’ll All Be Ok with the pain of losing three family members in one year.
Talk to Hype.myClinton said of losing her family, “Honestly, I don’t think I would be here without it. It took some real grieving for three months before I started writing, but once I started, I was allowed to express my feelings in a safe space.”
In a since-deleted Instagram post, Clinton spoke about his struggles dealing with the deaths of his mother, father and brother, a topic he has discussed as he has come to terms with how he became famous.
On the Zach Sang Show, Clinton spoke at length about his mother’s passing and recounted how he cried at her funeral. However, the comments section was filled with people who disputed his statement and insisted that his mother was still alive.
He even convinced Taylor Weatherby to write an article about him on the Grammy website saying that “Kane has never had a problem with brutal honesty” because of his honesty.
It turns out that while many other grieving people were affected by Clinton’s songs, he was allegedly dishonest about his family’s passing. His ex-girlfriend, Brooke Schofield, claims to have receipts as proof.

Then, in a podcast episode, hosts Zach Sang and Tana Mongeau, close friends and podcast co-hosts of Clinton’s ex-husband Brooke Schofield, criticized his alleged lies even more.
“I can’t wait for there to be a four-part Netflix documentary about that shit,” Tana said of Clinton. “At first, we were all for it. I was like, ‘I like Clinton’s music’ — I still do to this day, I think he’s so talented. We were all like, ‘F–k yeah, marry him.’ And then it was like, ‘F–k yeah, run.’ It reversed really quickly.”
At the time, the two podcast hosts clarified their ambiguous comments, saying it was Zach’s podcast comments that allowed them to uncover Clinton’s alleged lies.
“In short, Clinton Kane, who you may know from TikTok, made up this whole story about losing his mother,” Zach said. “Clinton Kane allegedly lied about his mother dying, even though he released multiple songs about it and an album about it.”
Clinton later retracted his statement, asserting that the “mother” he referred to in his songs was the mother who adopted him when he was a child, although this claim has also been questioned following online rumors.
Brooke also confirmed details that emerged in Zach Sang’s interview. Brooke claimed that she discovered the video online and began reading the comments after eavesdropping on the conversation. She found one comment in particular that troubled her. It suggested that Clinton was impersonating an Australian, casting doubt on the possibility of his mother’s survival as she had reportedly been seen recently. The commenter said they went to school together and knew Clinton.
In her TikTok series, Brooke shares the discovery of two Facebook accounts with the same name as her mother. While she claims Clinton describes her mother as blonde and Norwegian, the images allegedly show a completely different person.
=In the Part 13 video, Brooke claims that knowing Clinton had been unfaithful to her gave her the confidence to confront him about his lies regarding his family’s deaths. According to her, he initially denied it, but after she tricked him into telling him that she had spoken to her, he admitted that he had lied about his mother and sister and that his father had died.
