god of war ragnarok
God of War Ragnarok is a video game where you follow Kratos and his son Atreus on an adventure based on Norse mythology. It is the ninth game in the series and the sequel to 2018’s God of War. Set in ancient Scandinavia, it explores the concept of Ragnarok, a major event in Norse mythology.
Gameplay is similar to the 2018 game, with a focus on combat, puzzle-solving, and role-playing. Kratos has new weapons like a magical spear, while his shield is more versatile. Atreus helps in combat and can even perform tasks with you controlling him. The game has been delayed somewhat due to the actor playing Kratos falling ill and COVID-19 impacting development.
It received critical acclaim for its story, characters, visuals, and gameplay improvements. It sold many copies in its first week and won several awards. In addition, there is a DLC called “Valhalla” that will be launched soon, continuing the story after “Twilight of the Gods”.

God of War Ragnarok plot
In “God of War Ragnarok”, Kratos and Atreus embark on a grand adventure in Norse mythology. They fight gods, deal with prophecies, and have lots of fights and drama. Atreus discovers a prophecy that he may play a role in the apocalyptic “Ragnarok”. This caused tension between him and Kratos. Along the way, they joined forces with Freya and others, but some of their friends turned into disguised enemies.
The story develops into a massive battle to stop Ragnarok. Allies join in, such as a giant snake and other powerful creatures. They clash with Odin and Surtur as they fight to prevent the end of the world. The game ends with an emotional moment between Kratos and Atreus, who realize they can control their own destiny. Finally, a moving funeral is held for the beloved character, marking the end of their journey.
