God of War Ragnarok Valhalla Release Date
The Valhalla DLC for “God of War Ragnarok” will be released in advance on December 12, 2023. As a special treat for fans, Santa Monica Studio is making the DLC available for free to players who already own the base game on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
The DLC takes Kratos on a personal journey that follows the events of the main game. You can dive into the Valhalla DLC at any point in the game, as it operates separately from the main story. However, it is recommended to complete the main story first to become familiar with Kratos’ weapons and combat tools.
A new, challenging difficulty level “Give Me Mastery” is introduced in the DLC. While it’s available from the start, players can choose other difficulty options. God of War Ragnarok gameplay
In God of War Ragnarok, the gameplay is a third-person action-adventure experience using a shoulder-mounted camera, similar to the previous God of War (2018). There are no camera cuts or loading screens, providing a seamless journey. Players control Kratos, fight combos and solve puzzles.

In the plot of God of War Ragnarok, Kratos and Atreus go through a turbulent journey. After fending off Freya’s ambush, they found their wolf Fenrir in his final moments and triggered Atreus’ magic to transform into a bear.
