early life
Eben was born on September 9, 1979 (42 years old) in Lagos, Nigeria.
He comes from a Christian family and is the fifth of six children.
He started out as a rapper before turning to gospel music.
Before he became famous, singer Eben was a background singer. In 1997, he made his debut as a gospel singer with the Christ Embassy Choir.
He rose to fame after his first public appearance at a conference organised by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

Eben started his career as a rapper in 1997, with his mentor being his elder brother. But later, he discovered his talent in singing and became a gospel singer. His popularity soared in 2005 after he made his first public appearance at a youth conference organized by Pastor Chris Oyakilome.
In 2006, Eben joined Christ Embassy, a church founded by Pastor Chris Oyakilome, as a member.
In 2007, his first album “On the Rock” was released, which included beautiful tracks such as “Imaranma”, “God Dey”, “Iwo Nikan” and “I Don Hammer”.
In 2010, the follow-up album “Phenomenon” was released, which included many songs such as “Imela Papa”, “Siya Nma” and “Supper Man”.
In 2013, Eben released another album titled Justified, which included songs like “You Alone Are Worthy,” “Onye Nwem,” “How I Love You,” “For Ever,” and “All The Way.”
Another album titled “Magnified” was released, which contained “Stayed On You”, “Everything”, “Idi Nm”, “Lifted Hands” and other worship songs. He became popular after releasing a song titled “Victory”.
Eben hosted a live concert in 2019, the concert was called Joyful Noise 2019, which was held on September 15, 2019. The concert featured top gospel musicians and favorite American musicians such as Bob Fitts and Phil Thompson.

Record label Hammer House of Rock has a business arm, Hammer House Ventures, which specializes in video and music production and event management, and its interior design is owned by the gospel singer.
