GT Racing 7 Wiki
Gran Turismo 7 returns the beloved single-player campaign GT simulation mode, along with returning features such as traditional tracks, special events, championships, driving schools, tuning parts shops, used car dealerships, GT Auto, Brand Central and Discover (now labeled Showcase) was introduced in Gran Turismo Sport. To unlock various features, players must complete tasks (“menu books”) provided by GT Cafe.
Dynamic time and weather effects are back, previously seen in Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo 6. However, similar to Gran Turismo Sport, the game requires a constant internet connection to save progress and prevent hackers and cheats. Players can enjoy arcade mode offline.
The PlayStation 5 version takes advantage of the console’s enhanced features, including increased processing power, dedicated ray tracing hardware, custom SSD storage, Tempest Engine and DualSense controller support. This enables advanced haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, real-time ray tracing effects, 3D spatial audio and reduced load times.
The game runs at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second and supports high dynamic range. In addition, riders from the Gran Turismo eSports competition Gran Turismo World Series will appear as AI opponents and license exam coaches, adding an exciting element to the gaming experience.
