Early life
Boucher was born in Keizer, Oregon on June 10, 1984 and spent most of his childhood in Oregon. He attended Salem Academy, where he received All-State honors.
After transferring from McNary High School, he did not receive any college offers while in high school, so he attended Chemeketa Community College, where he decided to play basketball for the school team.
Career
Boucher began his professional career playing basketball. He signed a contract with the International Basketball League with the Salem Stampede in 2006. He then went on to play for the Atlanta Krunk, Continental Basketball Association in 2007-08.
However, Boucher soon left basketball behind to play street basketball. Street basketball caught Boucher’s attention when the AND1 Mixtape Tour stopped in Portland, Oregon, where he and his brother attended the event as fans.
As soon as she heard about the tryouts for the tour, Boucher jumped at the chance and earned a spot on the team. Within a year, Boucher had become the face of the tour, appearing in various marketing and advertising campaigns.
Boucher has played in over 30 countries and has appeared in 7 seasons on ESPN’s Streetball, 4 AND1 commercials, 5 mixtape DVDs, and an AND1 video game. In addition to playing Streetball, Boucher also plays Chess while on tour.
Boucher decided to leave AND1 in January 2011 and joined Ball Up, where he befriended the company’s CEO before joining. Although Ball Up featured most of the artists from the AND1 Mixtape Tour.
The gameplay in Ball Up focuses more on the departure of AND1 players, on-field action, and behind-the-scenes videos. They have toured in over 10 countries and are even planning a winter tour in the United States.
