“The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” is an action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo in 2023 specifically for the Nintendo Switch console. Features and expanded open world environment. This enhanced world design now allows players for more vertical exploration, unlocking exciting possibilities.
The game revolves around Link’s heroic journey as he joins forces with Princess Zelda to thwart Ganondorf’s evil plan to bring destruction to the Kingdom of Hyrule. An immersive storyline follows their heroic efforts to protect the land and its inhabitants from impending doom.

How to get the Elf Fountain in Kingdom Tears?
To unlock the Great Fairy Fountain in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Realm, you must serenade each Great Fairy and complete individual side quests for them. The first Great Fairy, Great Fairy Terra, can be found near the Woodland Stables.
To start these quests, you need to talk to the Lucky Clover Gazette near Rito Village. Remember to wear warm clothes during your trip. Becoming a reporter for The Gazette will allow you to complete various side missions throughout Hyrule. One of the missions, called “Potential Princess Sightings,” requires you to visit different stable locations on the map and is tied to the Great Fairy Fountain mission. More details on unlocking the Great Fairy can be found below.
Terra the Great Fairy – “A Serenade for the Great Fairy”
Head to the Woodland Stables, which is located in the same location as Breath of the Wild, northeast of Lookout Landing, near Pico Pond. When you arrive, go find Payne, another reporter for the Lucky Clover Gazette. Also, be sure to interact with Mastro and the musical troupe called the Stable Trotters.
The stable runners long to awaken the great Fairy of Terra, but their carriage breaks down and they face obstacles. To complete this specific side quest, you must use the Ultrahand to repair the car and use the horse to tow it.
In order to tow effectively, you need to unlock tow straps by earning three pony points. These points can be earned by talking to the stablekeeper at each stable, registering a horse or staying overnight at the stables (for a fee of Rs. 20).
After you get the trailer wiring harness, talk to the music group again. Once they’re on the carriage, follow the stars on the map. This will take you to the location of Terra the Great Elf, where a charming cutscene awaits you. After the cutscene ends, you’ll gain the ability to activate an upgrade!
The Great Fairy Corterra – “Corterra Serenade”
Head to the Duel Peak Stables located south of Kakariko Village. Once there, look for the musical troupe and find Baez the drummer. Betz is located on the right side of the main road southeast of the village of Kakariko.
Beetz will guide you in gathering some Horse Honey from a specific location. After obtaining the honey, return to the Duel Peak Stables to find Baez.
To reach the Big Fairy Bud, you need to cross the river. Build a boat big enough to accommodate everyone in the group, and don’t forget to install fans for smooth sailing!
The Great Fairy Caesar – “Serenade to Caesar”
Go to the Suburban Stables in the southwest of Hyrule Fields. Once there, approach the music group and find Piper, the talented flutist. You can find Piper at the Highland Stables.
Follow the mesmerizing flute sounds to find Piper, standing in a tree next to a well. To continue the side quest, collect ten Sunset Fireflies and present them to Piper. These elusive insects only appear at night and can be found in Finla Forest and Pagos Forest.
After completing the Firefly quest, find the little girl Heit in the stable and take her to the tree at night. Once you’ve done this, return to the Suburban Stables.
To continue the mission, obtain the Zonai Wheel and Levers to repair the carriage. After the carriage was repaired, he led the group up the mountain to where Fairy Kesha was.
The Great Fairy Mia – “A Serenade for Mia”
Head to the Snow Stables in the Tabantha Tundra. Once you arrive, talk to the music group again, then set off to find Eustace the Horn Player. You’ll find Eustace trapped in a large cave south of Mount Nero and west of Piper Ridge.
To rescue Eustace, use the bonfire to create an updraft and attach the balloon to the wagon. This will allow you to lift Eustace out of the hole. Alternatively, you can use the box to support the carriage and use the Ultrahand to lift it out.
After successfully rescuing Eustace, return to the Snow Stables and talk to the Troupe again. Continue to restore the cabin and add a roof to keep it warm. After the carriage is repaired, horses are used as transportation to guide the troupe to the designated daisy buds marked on the map. Congratulations! You have completed your task.
Great Fairy Fountain Location
During your early adventures in Hyrule, you may come across one of the enchanting Great Fairy Fountains. These magical fountains are located near several stables on the property. Keep an eye out for animals near the Woodland Stables to the northeast, Duel Peaks Stables to the southeast, Suburban Stables to the southwest, and Snowfield Stables to the northwest.
If you’re having a hard time finding them, just keep an eye out for the mesmerizing purple smoke near each stable. Follow the direction of these ethereal fairies and you’ll embark on a journey to discover the hidden wonders of the Grand Fairy Fountain.
After discovering the Great Fairy Fountain in Breath of the Wild, you’ll realize that the rules have changed. Now, the Great Fairy doesn’t need a lot of rupees before she appears, but rather a mesmerizing musical melody. However, this fun mission can only begin if you assume the role of the respected Lucky Clover Gazette reporter.
Be sure to visit the former Rito Stables at Tabantha Frontier, just below the entrance to Rito Village on the far northwest side. There you will find more clues and embark on a musical journey to unlock the secrets hidden by the Great Fairy Fountain.
Where can I find all the great fairy fountain locations?
In the enchanted world of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, adventurers will stumble upon a total of four Great Fairy Fountains, each located near the stables. When you first meet the Fairy, she will kindly mark the locations of the remaining three fountains on your map for easier navigation. Initially, however, you’ll need to manually venture to one of these four locations to begin your search for fairies.
When it comes to upgrading your armor, there’s an interesting discovery waiting for you on the Upgrade Armor screen. It is worth noting that the climbing gear is very noticeable and requires 3 Wings of Geith and 3 Mushrooms as an important part of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. A visual representation of this can be observed in the accompanying images showing climbing gear.
However, if you wish to enhance your armor to greater heights, unlocking subsequent fairies becomes imperative. With each newly discovered fairy, the range of potential enhancement levels expands, giving you access to more powerful upgrades. This progression continues until all four fairies are revealed, allowing you to maximize your armor’s potential and become a powerful force in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Realm.
To help you on your quest, here is a concise list of all Fairy Fountain locations and their corresponding areas:
- Terra the Great Goblin: Found northeast of the castle ruins.
- Kesha the Great Fairy: Located on the southwest side of Lookout Landing.
- Great Fairy Cotera: Located northwest of East Necluda.
- Miha the Great Fairy: Located in the northeast of Lidong Village.
However, accessing the Great Fairy Fountain and unlocking the ability to upgrade your armor requires a series of steps. Initially, the fountain was not easy to use. Instead, you must embark on a series of side missions involving a missing musical group called the Stablehoofs.
The first two members of the troupe are located at the Woodland Stables in Eldin Gorge at the coordinates (1046, 1145, 0022). The stables are located west of Pico Pond and northeast of Crennel Mountain. During your encounters, members of the troupe will mention the Lucky Clover Gazette, a newspaper that holds the key to their story. It is your responsibility to find the publication.
The Lucky Clover Bulletin can be found in the stable of the same name, located east of the village of Rito at the coordinates (-3251, 1772, 0118).If this is your first time visiting Gazette, talk to Traysi waiting inside
