Guilty Gear Strive version 1.34 patch notes
fighting
- As of this bug fix update, the combat version has been updated from Ver.1 to Ver.1. 3.02 to version. 3.03.
- Fixed an issue that caused the game to become temporarily unresponsive when Elfert used his finishing move after winning a round.
- Fixed an issue causing unexpected behavior when Elphelt uses Here I Go! Tethered to Baiken after Kabari (S version) or ground throw.
- Fixed an issue that allowed Melia to perform a second Tandem Top via certain input methods when there was already a Tandem Top on the screen.
- Fixed an issue where the character would not display properly when hit by Faust’s Ground Throw or Bone-Crushing Excitement under certain conditions in Arcade Mode.
- Fixed an issue that caused Asuka to have unexpected visual effects when she was hit by Bone-Crushing Excitement while in the explosive state caused by Faust’s items.
- Fixed an issue that caused Faust to appear in unexpected and different locations when using Scarecrow. This fix requires changing the properties of the move as described below.
Problem background: version in progress. 1.32, using the Deflection Shield on the P or K version of Scarecrow will cause the camera to move unnaturally. This visual issue has been resolved in version 1. 1.33. This also leads to an unexpected change in Faust’s position in “The Scarecrow”.
Bug Fix: To address visual and positioning issues with minimal impact on existing combos and strings, the time Faust turns to face his opponent when Scarecrow is active has been changed. This changes what happens when playing the underlying string in a corner, for example.
Close Standing S > Crouching S > Scarecrow (K version) > Scarecrow will hit Faust in the front without additional input which will create a greater distance from the opponent.
Close standing S > Crouching S > Scarecrow (K version) > Enter forward and let the scarecrow hit behind Faust which will reduce the distance to the opponent.

Guilty Gear Endeavor gameplay
Guilty Gear Strive is designed as a “complete rebuild of the series”, retaining the essential essence of the series while making significant changes to various features and mechanics. Notably, it departs from tradition by excluding the series’ unique mechanic of “instant kills.”
Despite this omission, the game does introduce an innovative “wall breaking” feature. This additional feature aids in phase transitions when executing combos in the corners of the arena, breathing fresh life into the gameplay. Guilty Gear strives to strike a balance between tradition and innovation by retaining the core features of the Guilty Gear series while delivering significant updates.
The removal of the instant kill mechanic, coupled with the introduction of the “Wall Break” feature, underscores the game’s commitment to revitalizing the series, providing players with an exciting reimagining of the world of the beloved fighting game.
