The “Without Me” singer confirmed the engagement in a response to PopBase’s X post that called Jogia Halsey’s boyfriend. Halsey corrected the post, citing Jogia as her fiancé.

Halsey, who performed at the 2024 VMAs on Wednesday, previously shared details about her relationship with Jogia in a chat with ‘E! News.’

“Avan is the most amazing person; he’s one of the best things that’s ever happened to me, and you know, every day that I’m with him feels like I’m with my best friend, you know what I mean? It’s unbelievable,” Halsey, 29, shared in the interview.
When asked if they were considering marriage in the future, Halsey replied: “I hope so!”
Halsey also shared with ‘E!’ how close Jogia is to their son, Ender, born in 2021 from Halsey’s previous relationship with Alev Aydin.
“They were best friends; they were inseparable,” the New Jersey native said of Jogia and Ender’s relationship. Halsey and Aydin split in early 2023. Later that year, Halsey began dating Jogia, going public on Instagram just before Halloween.
On September 6, Halsey and Jogia were spotted having dinner at Carbone in New York City ahead of the VMAs. That same night, Halsey performed her new single “Ego” from her upcoming album “The Great Impersonator,” which is set to be released in October.
