Harshad Arora is an Indian television actor who was born on 3 September 1987. He made his acting debut in 2014 in the popular Colors TV series Beintehaa, playing the lead actor Zain Abdullah, for which he won the ITA Award for Best Actor. In 2016, Arora played IAS officer Adarsh Sinha in the Star Plus limited series Dahleez. In 2015, he appeared in the Colors TV stunt reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6. In 2021, he played Arjun Chatterjee in Colors TV’s Thoda sa Baadal Thoda sa Paani. As Dr. Satya Adhikari, Arora is currently starring in the Star Plus hit series Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

Arora was born on September 3, 1987 in Delhi, India. His father runs a business. He started his career as a model and in television commercials. He started modeling during college. He received his early education at Ryan International School in New Delhi and then joined Delhi University to pursue his Bachelor of Science degree.
Profession
In 2014, Arora made his male lead debut in Colors TV’s popular romance show, Beintehaa, opposite Preetika Rao as Zain Abdullah. Their onscreen chemistry became an instant hit and remains popular to this day. Beintehaa won accolades and several honours, including the Indian Television Academy Award, the India Telly Award and the Karaka Award.
The show resumed in 2016 under the new name Salaam-E-Ishq Daastaan Mohabbat Ki (translated as Salame Ishq: A Narrative of Love) and aired on Colors Rishtey. On Raj TV, the series was also dubbed into Tamil as Alaipayuthey. The series was also dubbed into Indonesian and aired on ANTV as Beintehaa. The series was also dubbed into Turkish and aired on Kanal 7 as Benimsin.
Endless Love was also dubbed in South Africa and aired on Glow TV. The series was also dubbed into Swahili in Tanzania and aired on Azam TV (Azam two) under the same title Beintehaa. Due to its popularity among the audience, Beintehaa was re-aired on Colors Rishtey as Pyaar Ka Fitoor on October 21, 2021, just a month after its 7-year completion date.
Arora made his reality TV debut in 2015 when he participated in Colors TV’s stunt show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6, finishing 15th. After a year’s break, he returned to Star Plus in 2016, playing IAS officer Adarsh Sinha in the legal drama Dahleez, alongside Tridha Choudhury. The show was cancelled after 104 episodes.
Arora played super cop Jai in Life OK’s supernatural thriller Super Cop vs Super Villain from 2016 to 2017. A year later, he appeared in Star Bharat’s exciting drama Mayavi Maling (better known as The King’s Daughter) as Rajkumar Angad (Prince of Mahapuram).
The story talks about gaining inner strength and fighting against the strongest enemies. The story is set in a fantasy world. However, it failed to capture the public’s interest and was removed from the airwaves after three months. In 2019, Arora played Alok Parihar in the SAB TV comedy series Tera Kya Hoga Alia. The series was remade and renamed Carry on Alia for its second season. The series was cancelled in October 2020 after two seasons.
Due to low ratings, the show was cancelled in March 2022 after seven months on air. Since March 2023, he plays the lead role of Dr. Satya Adhikari opposite Ayesha Singh in StarPlus’ popular romantic drama Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
