Based on community feedback, Bren now has bipod functionality.

Field of view changes

[Changed] The FOV slider range has changed as follows:

  • Previously – 90-120

  • Now – 60-120

This is to allow all players to have a wider range of FOV settings, this will help prevent the “fisheye” effect on larger ultrawide and super ultrawide monitors, players should note that the default FOV setting is still 90, so If you want to change this setting, go into your settings menu if needed.

Developed and published by Team17 with assistance from Cover 6 Studios and Expression Games, the game stands out for its emphasis on platoon-level combat.

Originally conceived by Australian studio Black Matter, the project launched in 2017 and raised $220,000 via Kickstarter. Following the initial PC Early Access version in June 2019, the full version will be released in July 2021. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players join the competition on October 5, 2021. Hell Unleashed Gameplay

Hell Let Loose offers immersive 50 vs. 50 combat, featuring combined arms combat. Players can choose from different factions such as the German, American, Soviet, British, German Afrika Korps and sub-factions of the British 8th Army. Factions include rifle squad (6 soldiers), armor squad (3 tankmen) and recon squad (2 soldiers), each playing a vital role. The game offers two main modes: War and Offensive, both centered around capturing and controlling areas of the map.

In war, victory comes from capturing all areas or a majority when the timer expires. Attack mode involves one team defending all areas, while the other team’s goal is to capture them before the timer expires. Effective communication is critical, with a variety of voice channels including leadership, unit-specific, proximity and party channels that promote teamwork. The PC version also includes text chat functionality.

Hell Let Loose introduces an RTS-inspired strategy metagame where commanders manage faction resources, overseeing vehicle deployments, air strikes, and supply drops. Engineers can build resource nodes to increase production, but the enemy team can dismantle them. This strategic layer adds depth to the intense frontline battles.
