Trenton Garvey knew he wanted to be a chef when he was in high school at Union High School. He graduated in 2013. He started his culinary career at KFC in Washington. Thanks to his natural talent for learning, he outdid everyone there.
The Arkansas native trained under Chef Ted Hirschi at East Central College, where he received his formal culinary education. Like Gordon, Ted, now retired, is old school, and he and the other trainee chefs had to look their best every day to be ready to learn from him.
