How To Beat Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Hardest Platforming Challenge

How to Beat Prince of Persia’s Lost Crown’s Hardest Platforming Challenge

Find the “Impossible Climb” side quest:

  • The side mission is located entirely in a large room in the east-central part of Uptown. Find the fast travel point on the map called “The Clockwork” and from there look directly to the left to find the room.

Prepare with the big powers:

  • To reach the room, you’ll need powerful abilities, including late-game access to Temporal Structure (grapple), Jump, Gravity Wings (double jump), and Simog Dash (dash). It is highly recommended to use Shadow of Simurgh as it will be easier to complete.

Meet the Hermit:

  • Meet a character named “The Hermit” who provides in-game lore (possible spoilers). The details are not discussed here.

Climb onto the moving spike platform:

  • From the hermit’s position, climb up a series of moving spiked platforms, retrieving three bells along the way. Death resets your access to the bell, but if necessary you can return to the surface during the attempt, although this increases the difficulty.

Teleport using shadows:

  • Before each attempt, deploy a Shadow next to the Hermit to teleport back after retrieving the bell. This saves you from going downhill, which can be just as challenging as the uphill climb.

Master Tricky Climbs:

  • Traverse challenges involve tricky ascents, combined with jumping and sprinting to stay on a moving vertical surface. Timing your jumps is crucial, especially when the platform is descending. be patient!

Collect bells in any order:

  • The order in which the bells are collected does not matter. It is recommended to collect the bells on the left and right first before reaching the bell in the top center.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown gameplay

The Lost Crown is a side-scrolling action-adventure platformer in which you control the character Sargon. Sargon can jump, slide, and dash through the air to move quickly across different platforms. He uses a pair of blades to defeat enemies, and if timed correctly, he can parry attacks and build a special ability called Atla’s Light. The game also provides players with time-based combat and movement abilities, such as Rush of the Simurgh, which allows Sargon to instantly travel through time, and Shadow of the Simurgh, which allows him to create a temporary checkpoint.

In The Lost Crown, players will explore an interconnected game world with shortcuts and hidden rooms, solving puzzles to progress. By searching the world, players find time crystals that can be used to upgrade Sargon’s weapons. Sometimes players may not have the right tools or skills to overcome an obstacle, but the game lets them take screenshots and mark them on the map to remember where they need to go back and solve the puzzle later.
