Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is a popular video game made in 2020. It’s about a future world where things aren’t all that great, and is based on the game series created by Mike Pondsmith. You play as “V”, a mercenary living in a fictional city in California called Night City.
V’s life takes a turn after a failed robbery involving a special biochip containing the brain of a famous rock star. The rock star’s name is Johnny Silverhand, played by Keanu Reeves. Johnny’s mind threatens to take over V’s, and they must work together to solve the problem and save V.
The game is produced by CD Projekt Red, with a team of approximately 500 people. They use a special game engine called REDengine 4. To help make the game, they enlisted the help of other companies including Digital Scapes, Nvidia, QLOC, and Jali Research.
Mike Pondsmith, the man who originally created the cyberpunk world, provided input on the game. Even Keanu Reeves got in on the action! The music was composed by Marcin Przybyłowicz and also featured some famous artists.
People have been excited about this game for a long time. It was released in December 2020 on PlayStation 4, Stadia, Windows and Xbox One. Later, it was also launched for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in February 2022.
People who have played the game love its story, setting, and look. However, certain parts of the gameplay received mixed reviews. Some people don’t like the way trans characters are represented. Additionally, the game has a lot of technical issues, especially on consoles.
Sony even removed it from the PlayStation Store for a while to fix the issues. CD Projekt got into trouble because they didn’t tell people about these issues before the game was released. For this, they had to pay a lot of money. Despite this, many people bought the game, and by September 2022, more than 20 million copies had been sold.

What is network software capacity fragmentation?
In Cyberpunk 2077 2.0, they added something called “CyberwareCapacity”. Cyberware is like special technology that your character, V, can put inside his body to become more like a cyborg. But you can’t throw as much as you want – there’s a limit, and that’s network software capacity.
To add more cool upgrades to V, you need to collect something called network software capacity shards. These allow you to install more technology into your body. You can choose the enhancements you want and place them on different parts of your body. For example, you can make your cybernetic legs run faster or improve your hacking skills.
Whenever you collect these fragments from corpses, they automatically increase your capacity. You can also level up and unlock special abilities to further improve your abilities. Each time you level up, your abilities triple. Additionally, unlocking certain perks on the technical ability tree can help improve your network software capabilities.
