Disney Dream Light Valley Mist
In Disneyland, fog is the primary currency needed to enrich your journey. It’s not like Star Coins, which are used for crops and furniture, but is crucial for unlocking new biomes in Rifts in Time. Similar to the Dreamlight currency in the base game, Mist is essential for traversing Ancient Landing and exploring the fascinating biomes introduced in Rift in Time.
To meet characters like EVE, head to the Timeless Isle. Gaston and Rapunzel can be found in Glitter Dunes and Tangled respectively. This guide will provide helpful tips on earning Mist quickly, allowing you to unlock these biomes in Disney Dreams’ Valley of Light.
How to get fog in Disneyland’s Valley of Dreams?
To get Mist quickly in Disneyland’s Dream Valley of Lights, you can use a few different methods:
Complete the fog mission:
- The easiest way to get Mist is to complete Mist quests. These are simple tasks like selling gems, cooking a two-star meal, or feeding critters. There are always six missions to choose from every day, and after completing these missions, you will be rewarded with mist. You can find these responsibilities under “Mist Duties” in the Dreamlight menu.
mission accomplished:
- You can also earn Mist by completing in-game story and friendship quests. Check the mission menu to see the Mist rewards for each mission. Typically, this ranges from 250 to 500 Mist. Keep in mind that only quests related to “A Rift in Time” will give you Mist, while base game quests will grant Dreamlight.
To use the Royal Hourglass:
- After completing the mission “Flying Metal Nuisance” (which also unlocks EVE), you will receive the Royal Hourglass. Equip it and use it to clear the game of swirling sand. Using the Royal Hourglass to interact with the spinning sand will earn you mist.
By combining these methods, you can effectively grow mist in Disneyland.

It was first released on September 6, 2022 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Later, on December 6, 2022, they released the macOS version along with some new content for the game. Initially, you’ll have to pay in advance to play, but they’re considering making it free. But in October 2023, they changed their minds and decided it wouldn’t be free after all. The game launches fully on December 5, 2023, and comes with the first big bonus part, “A Rift in Time.”

Disney Dream Valley gameplay
At Disneyland, you can dive into a world where you take care of this magical place filled with Disney and Pixar characters. It’s like being in a grand adventure where you control a character who lives in this special valley. You can explore, collect stuff, and even use magic to clear out these not-so-friendly plants known as “night thorns.”
You can cook, craft stations to craft items and tools that rely on magic to help you, such as a pickaxe or fishing rod. You can even decorate the place with furniture and style your clothes. As you play, you can earn coins, allowing you to buy cool stuff or upgrade your valley. The best part? You can become friends with the characters who live there by chatting, doing activities together, and giving gifts. The more friends you make, the more stuff and rewards you unlock.
