How to play Persona 5 before Persona 5 Tactica?
“Persona 5: Tactics” unfolds after the establishment of the Phantom Thieves, telling the story of the Joker’s efforts to change the hearts of Japanese outlaws. It takes place before third-year students Makoto and Haru graduate, serving as a side quest in the Persona 5 storyline.
It is recommended to play Persona 5 for at least a few hours before starting Tactica. Considering where Tactica falls in the timeline, delving into it without prior knowledge could lead to confusion. The game assumes you understand the characters, the Metaverse, and the unique characteristics of Morgana, the talking cat.
While Tactica has its own story, playing Persona 5 provides the necessary context to fully understand the world and characters. If you’re a tactical game enthusiast eager to try Tactica, be prepared that it may be confusing at first, but it’s a great opportunity to explore the wonderful world of Persona 5.
