Early life
Hudayya Fadoul Abacha was born in the early 1980s to northern parents. She comes from a very prestigious family.
Her father is Dr. Khaloud Fadoul and her mother is Hajiya Fatima Fadoul.
Although she was born in Kano City, she has her roots in Borno State. She comes from a Muslim family.
She has six siblings – two brothers and four sisters. She is the second child in the family.
As a child, she wanted to become a Civil Engineer but ended up studying Biology in college.
Education
Hudayya Fadoul Abacha completed his primary and secondary education in Northern Nigeria.
She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Abuja.
Career
Although Hudayya Fadoul Abacha majored in Biology in school, she has always had a great passion for fashion. Since her teenage years, she has had a good sense of fashion and has always given fashion advice to her family members and close friends.
A self-taught fashion designer, she quit her high-paying job at the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) Abuja to start her own fashion business.
She was inspired to start her business after successfully styling her sister for her wedding. She also styled bridesmaids. The designs she created were so beautiful that many people began asking her to do similar designs for them.
Although Huddaya Bridal Emporium started out as a small business, it has grown into one of the largest fashion brands in Nigeria and West Africa.
Hudayya Fadoul Abacha has had the opportunity to style many celebrities and important figures in society. As a designer, she has worked with Genevieve Nnaji (Nollywood Actress), Di’ja (Singer & Songwriter), Zahra Buhari (Daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari) and Aisha Buhari (First Lady of Nigeria).
She was contracted to design the wedding dress for the daughter of the former Governor of Taraba State (Miriam Suntai).
She achieved a similar feat with the daughter of Delta State Governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa. The bride was Marilyn Okowa. She also worked with Zanan Buhari on her wedding dress.
She is definitely one of the biggest bridal designers in the country. She runs a fashion academy for aspiring designers called Hudayya Fashion Academy.
Surprisingly, Hudayya also designed her own wedding dress.

Personal life
Hudayya Fadoul Abacha is in her 30s. She married her husband in 2013. Her husband is Sadiq Sani Abacha, the fifth son of the late General Sani Abacha (former head of state of Nigeria).
Huddaya’s mother-in-law is Maryam Abacha. She and her husband have known each other since they were teenagers. Because they are family friends. The couple started dating in 2009.
In 2016, the beautiful couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy.
They are a very private couple, always staying away from controversies or scandals involving other influential people in the country.
They live in a beautiful mansion in Maitama, Abuja. They regularly visit Kano State, where their rural home is located.
