Adele tearfully bid farewell to 5,000 fans as she took down the curtain on her two-year residency at the Coliseum at Caesars Palace on Saturday night.
The British singer delivered her swan song with a rustic and reflective performance, noting that she was “not sure where”. [she’s] go”, followed by the words “Thank you”.
Holding a glass of wine before applying her makeup, Adele told the audience: “I don’t have any plans.
She added with a laugh, “I guess I’ll just drink during the day,” causing her fans to cheer and laugh.
The 36-year-old singer said the end of her residency is bittersweet, looking back at the challenges she went through when she first launched the show in 2022.
“It was so difficult. It was one of the worst years of my life,” she said, recalling how COVID-related concerns forced her to cancel her first performance. What is my fairy like?
“If I had done the show that I canceled, I certainly wouldn’t be standing here tonight doing my 100th show,” she continued.
Recalling her time in Las Vegas, Adele thanked her fans for their support. “I am filled with pride… I am so grateful to Vegas for giving me a second chance,” she noted.
She also took a moment to thank her family, including son Angelo and fiancee Rich Paul, who were in the audience.
As for what happens next, Adele revealed that she is planning to retire from the stage for a while. “I just don’t know when I want to go on stage next,” she said.

After her speech, Adele hugged her fiance and son and appeared emotional in a moment that marked the end of a major chapter in her career.
Her Las Vegas residency, titled “Weekends with Adele,” was a hot ticket that sold out immediately and fetched between $85 and $30,000 on the black market.
As the curtain fell and confetti filled the stage, Adele thanked the audience for their loyalty.
She continued: “I’m so sad that this residency is ending and I’m so happy that it happened. This has been on my mind for four years… So I’m looking forward to many free time to love my children and love my man.”
