Carpenter is credited with registering and engaging the most voters of any artist by the voter registration organization HeadCount, which has also worked with artists such as Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Maroon 5 and Beyoncé.

HeadCount.org said Carpenter, 25, was able to register 35,814 voters and persuade another 263,087 voters to take actions other than registering.
