Ice Spice, who shot to fame in late 2022 with her viral single “Munch (Feelin’ U),” is most easily recognized by her signature orange locks. Whether long and straight or short and curly, this female rapper has never been seen without her signature color— until now.
The Bronx native stepped out with short black curly hair, helping her look like her natural roots. The hairstyle transformation was debuted Tuesday night during the return of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, an event that brought together the likes of Tyla, Cher and iconic supermodel Tyra Banks.
The unexpected look was met with mixed reactions, with some fans calling the transformation unimpressive.

The 24-year-old singer has recently found herself the subject of many controversies, including a rocky relationship with rapper Cleotrapa and a love triangle between rapper Central Cee and content creator Madeline Argy. The disputes have caused Ice Spice to lose more than half a million followers in just two weeks, with many labeling the star “canceled”.
While the debut of the new hairstyle may have been an attempt to shock the media into its good graces, it seems like fans aren’t too eager to move on just yet.
