Iniobong Edo Ekim (born April 23, 1982) is a well-known legend in the Nigerian movie industry, popularly known as Ini Edo.

She is a multi-talented Nigerian actress, film producer and television personality.

Ini Edo started her film career in 2000 and has appeared in more than 100 films since her debut. In 2013, she served as a judge for the Miss Black Africa UK beauty pageant.

Early life and education

Actress Ini Edo was born in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria on April 23, 1982. She has two siblings: an elder sister named Ukeme Edo and a younger brother named Oti Edo.

The actress grew up in a religious family. Her mother was a teacher and her father was a church elder. She also has three siblings, two older sisters and a younger brother.

The beautiful actress, Ini Edo attended Cornelius College in Uyo and later attended the University of Uyo where she obtained a diploma in Theatre Arts. She later continued her studies and obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Calabar, majoring in English.

She later pursued further studies and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Calabar.
