Early life and education
The talented actress Ireti Osayemi was born on January 14, 1982.
She lived with her parents in Liberia before returning to Nigeria during the Liberian Civil War. She is originally from Lagos State, where she received all her education.
Ireti Osayemi completed her primary education in Lagos, southwestern Nigeria.
After completing her primary education, she attended Ajumoni Secondary School in Lagos and obtained her West African Secondary School Certificate.
She later attended Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.

Ireti Osayemi joined the Nigerian movie industry and started acting in Nigerian movies in 1999. She mainly acted in Yoruba movies with Funke Akindele, Eniola Badmus and Odunlade Adekola.
