Drake fans have expressed concern about an issue surrounding his highly anticipated 2025 tour in Australia.
In a recent chat with XQC, the 38-year-old Canadian musician revealed his plans to visit Down Under after an eight-year hiatus.
“The Anita Max Wynn Tour” is scheduled to begin on February 9, 2025, with shows scheduled in major cities such as Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast.
Notably, music fans have speculated that there could be a scheduling conflict with Drake’s upcoming Australian tour coinciding with the NFL Super Bowl.
Most people outside the US aren’t that interested in the NFL so he’ll be fine

Several individuals promptly mentioned the significant time difference between Australia and the United States and even offered a plausible explanation for why Drake might prefer to be on the other side of the globe when the Super Bowl begins.
๐ that’s not how you escape. they have one of the highest game viewerships in the world.
It’s no wonder that Kendrick also has a large number of fans there.

Smart move, not trying to distract anyone but distracting yourself from the controversy that could result from it. He needs to come to London next time, he needs a quick reminder of how much we love him, last time was three years ago (with Future too):(

These references come in the context of the upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show 2025, when Drake’s rival, Kendrick Lamar, will take the stage as the headliner.
That nigga Drake didn’t want to come to America when Kendrick called him a certified pedophile on that big stage. He ran out

Some have even suggested that Drake’s attempt to overshadow his competitor may have been ill-advised because of the time zone difference.
16 hour time difference. His show would end so he could cuddle up in a dark hotel room watching SB Halftime. It’s going to be a long night lmao

One opinion is that in a potential public fight, Drake would win.
The Superbowl is a 12-minute performance and is complete. The Drake Tour will flood the timeline and kill the hype surrounding the Superbowl performance

In the early 2010s, Lamar and Drake shared a friendship and professional relationship, creating the song “Buried Alive Interlude” together.
However, their friendship changed in March 2024 when Lamar decided to criticize J. Cole and Drake in his track “Like That”, following the release of the 2023 song “First Person Shooting ” theirs.
In the song, Cole asserts that he, Drake and Lamar are the leading trio in contemporary rap music.
In April, Cole decided to participate in the feud with the diss track “7 Minute Drill”. However, he quickly changed his tune within a week, expressed regret for the song and took it down from streaming platforms.
Drake entered the music scene by releasing “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle” in the same month, sparking a series of musical exchanges between the two artists.
