Granblue Fantasy: Relink is a cool action-RPG game made by Cygames and part of the Granblue Fantasy series. Developer Cygames did a great job and the game was published by Cygames in Japan, Xseed Games in North America, Plaion in Europe/Australia, and Nuuvem in Latin America.
The masterminds behind the game are directors Tetsuya Fukuhara and Yasuyuki Kaji, as well as producer Koichi Haruta and artist Hideo Minaba. The music by Nobuo Uematsu and Akira Narita adds an extra touch of charm to the game. It is part of the Granblue Fantasy series and allows you to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows. Released on February 1, 2024, the game is an action role-playing game that you can enjoy alone or with friends.
Is Granblue Fantasy Relink a Gacha?
No, Granblue Fantasy: Relink is not a lottery game. In this version, you don’t need to rely on a random lottery system to unlock characters. Instead, you can get all characters by advancing the in-game story and completing quests. This is different from the original game, which does involve a lottery mechanic.
Despite having a large number of characters at launch, there is no need to worry about having to use microtransactions to obtain specific fighters. While more characters may be introduced through future downloadable content (DLC) expansions, especially considering the very large character pool in the original Granblue Fantasy, it is unlikely that a gacha system will be implemented in Relink due to its full-price release. Therefore, players can enjoy the game without the uncertainty and randomness that comes with the gacha element.
