Lady Gaga has teased a secret project she’s working on and now, rumoured details about it have emerged.

On September 22, Mother Monster shared a post on her Instagram with the words “No Duct Tape No Mission” on a green background. However, she also teased an instrumental track that appears to be new music alongside the post.

The track features acoustic guitar and is reminiscent of Gaga’s song Joanne album and is different from previous snippets she’s played from her upcoming solo album. While Gaga hasn’t said what this new music might be, insiders are now revealing that it’s part of a special project she’s been working on outside of LG7.

A trusted ATRL insider named Supervillian revealed that the song she teased is called “Happy Mistake” and is part of a project called Clown.

The supervillian also shared that the new song will be released under Lady Gaga’s name, not Harley Quinn’s in the upcoming movie. Joker: Folie à DeuxNotably, they revealed that Gaga has created a new label for the project.

While it’s still unclear when this particular project might be released, Supervillian shared that next week will be exciting, seemingly hinting that it could launch at any time.

Earlier this month, Gaga confirmed Fashion that she spent much of this year recording LG7 as well as her “surprise project.”

“There’s a lot of pain involved in this adventure and as I start to explore that pain, it can bring another dimension to my art. When I’m here in this studio, I feel relaxed and I can face my demons and the remarkable thing is… it’s music. I can hear it coming back,” she shared with the channel.
