Dead Island 2 plot
“Dead Island 2” tells the story 14 years after the first outbreak, as Los Angeles faces a horrific zombie invasion. The military imposed a strict quarantine on the city, causing six people known as “The Killers” – Bruno, Kara, Danny, Ryan, Amy and Jacob – to escape on the last possible flight. Despite being bitten, they discovered their immunity.

They seek refuge with actress Emma Jatt and hear about Dr. Reuben Reed’s plan to use their immunity to cure the disease. Sam B is also immune and they travel to Santa Monica but encounter Lola Konradt’s group. Trapped among zombies, they use their primal instincts to survive.
Upon arriving at Reed’s sanctuary, they discover his deception and Conradt’s true motives. As they uncover a secret laboratory and Reed’s nefarious agenda, they confront him, only to face betrayal. When they learn the truth about the autophagosome explosion, Sam’s immunity gradually weakens.
Reed reveals a cure, but the killers must face Reed’s daughter Tisha, who holds the cure. Sam is saved, but Reed succumbs, leaving the Killers to solve the ongoing crisis. They choose to stay and vow to provide aid to the survivors, while Emma, Sam, and Barton escape. As Konrad watches, the Doom Slayers prepare for another conflict with the undead.
