At the time of writing this article in November 2022, Jill’s mother Gloria Kamen is still in the hospital. This also means she is still alive.

Meanwhile, asking for prayers, the RHONY star wrote on her IG, “Mom had a stroke, praying for physical strength to match her mental fortitude! Thank you for all the love. @mrsjillzarin @joannawexler @allyshapiro @jon_wexler.”

Additionally, Jill shared a video of herself visiting her mother at Boca Raton Regional Hospital in Florida. It appears the RHONY star and her daughter, Allyson Shapiro, visited the hospital and they even showed off the reality star’s praise for donating to the facility.

“I was visiting my mom. I just got here, but on the way there we just happened to pass by all the names, and I saw this the other day. I showed Ally the executive team — look who’s here,” Jill shared as she pointed to her name in the video.

However, her daughter pointed out that it should have been her late husband Bobby, not Jill. “So I’m going to change that next year,” the star promised.

In case you didn’t know, Jill’s husband Bobby Zarin passed away at the age of 71 in January 2018 after a long battle with cancer.

Jill has reportedly made the shortlist for Bravo’s new spinoff “Legacy,” which will also star Kelly Bensimon, Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan.

Sadly, Ramona Singer left the show because she didn’t want to be on it. “I don’t want to be on the show anymore. It’s not for me at this point,” she explained.

Gloria Kamen was married to her husband, Sol J. Kamen (Jill’s father), for nearly 65 years before she was hospitalized in November 2022.

The two were married on December 25, 1957.

Her husband, Sol, was born on June 13, 1929. He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School and later worked at The Corcoran Group. He also appeared on the Real Housewives of New Your City in 2009.

According to Jill, her father and mother were the ones who raised her to become the woman she is today.

In addition to Jill, Gloria also has another daughter named Lisa Wexler, who is also a star of RHONY.
