Jay-Z’s ‘illegitimate’ son accuses Rapper of manipulating justice system, violent intimidation tactics in paternity case

Rapper Shawn Carter, aka Jay-Z, is in trouble after a new lawsuit. He was accused of lying and bribing judges to avoid a paternity test for a man who believed he was his love child.

According to The Sun, Rymir Satterthwaite, 31, has long claimed that Jay-Z is his father and that the rapper impregnated his mother when she was 16 years old. Jay-Z has repeatedly denied this allegation and has never taken a paternity test.

Satterthwaite and his godmother, Lillie Coley, allege that Jay-Z has worked with dozens of judges over the past 10 years to throw out cases involving issues of paternity, inheritance and abuse of court process in court documents filed in New Jersey.

According to the lawsuit, Jay-Z also wrongly declared ownership of property in New Jersey that he did not have, then said he had no property in the state and, therefore, had no authority over him.

This new lawsuit follows another recent lawsuit against Jay-Z, accusing him and Sean “Diddy” Combs of raping a 13-year-old girl at an MTV VMA afterparty in 2000. Jay-Z has denied admitted and called these allegations an extortion plot.

Jay-Z isn’t actually named as a party in the New Jersey court system’s latest lawsuit, but the chart-topping rapper has been mentioned multiple times. It says he was “conspired against” by “six different judges” who ignored evidence that Jay-Z “owned land assets in New Jersey.”

Rymir and his mother, Lillie, have sued Jay-Z multiple times since 2010, when Lillie first tried to get proof of paternity. On the other hand, the rapper was accused by them of taking advantage of the proceedings to deny or dismiss his case.

In a serious allegation, the lawsuit claims that what they say were threats from unknown persons put their safety at risk, leading Rymir to be involved in a drive-by shooting car. They alleged that such actions were carried out by Jay-Z’s people.

In 2022, nearly $15,000 in legal fees were awarded to Jay-Z for Rymir to pay, and Lillie later filed an “unlawful lien” against their home in Pennsylvania. It wasn’t until Lillie tried to sell her house in December 2023 that they learned about these mortgages.

In the lawsuit, the plaintiffs seek compensation for emotional distress as well as more than $100,000 in damages they say they incurred as a result of the ongoing inspection. They claim that the defendants interfered with their constitutional rights and prevented Rymir from learning the truth about his paternity.

Rymir wants the “power of the justice system” to hold Jay-Z accountable and says he wants nothing more than the truth from the music mogul.

In a previous interview with The Sun, he said:

“I don’t want money or anything like that from Jay-Z. I just want him to finally tell the truth to the world. If you tell the truth then why is your first answer no? every time you are asked to be a father? check ‘no’?

Also, I want to have a fair court proceeding regardless of who my father is or how rich he is.”

A representative for Jay-Z did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the allegations in the new lawsuit. Following the more recent allegations, the rapper has continued to have a public presence, attending events with his family amid a number of other legal issues.
