John C Stewart Jr’s age at the time of his death
John C Stewart Jr was born on October 17, 1957 and breathed his last on November 11, 2006. This means he was just 49 years old when he died from an allergic reaction to over-the-counter cough medicine in Stone Mountain , Georgia. “It came out of nowhere. His throat closed up and he suffocated,” John recalled.
His funeral was held at Gwinnett Chapel in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Now, even many years after his death, John still misses him and often goes to social functions to pay his respects. He said that especially on Father’s Day, he misses his dad the most.
John C Stewart Jr. worked at the Gwinnett branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. “This man is going to be an extraordinary leader. He was divine and very positive,” said Audrey Scott, acting president of the Gwinnett branch.
In his honor, the branch is also donating to a scholarship in his name.
