The wife of country superstar Jelly Roll, Bunnie XO, is telling all about her exchange with Wade Wilson, the convicted murderer who is now facing the death penalty.

Bunnie opened up about her disturbing exchange with Wilson during one of her recent episodes Dumb blonde podcasts. Interested in his ability to produce a series of documents about his crimes, she spoke with Wilson, but shared that he had crossed the line after allegedly giving her phone number to at least individual year. “Wade realized for himself after the first phone call that we had to start giving out my phone number to random women,” she said.

On the podcast, she shared audio of her call with Wilson. Their exchange became tense and heated when Wade called Bunnie out on comments he said she made about him to his fans. Referring to the screenshots he received from fans, he noted, “I actually have a picture of it and it says something to the effect of ‘I need for these people. Hey see something about red flags and warning signs.'”

Bunnie went on to say that Wilson “vaguely threatened” her as their conversation escalated, referencing her husband’s time behind bars. “And I know exactly what he’s talking about, but I’m not going to get into it because you’re not going to threaten me,” Bunnie told the listener.

Wilson was arrested for murdering two women in 2019, Kristine Melton, 35, and Diane Ruiz, 43, one of whom he strangled to death, then ran over “until she looked like spaghetti noodles”.

He was sentenced to death in August, causing many listeners to criticize Bunnie for insensibly wanting to put him on the podcast. She said she now regrets caring, saying, “I feel bad for even having empathy for anyone other than the victim in this. I always try to look every side of every story, but I didn’t know his whole story and I just shouldn’t have said what I said without knowing so much of the truth.”
