Jennifer Lopez hopes she can save her marriage to Ben Affleck.
According to one Contact insider, Lopez has “told everyone” that “they would get over” his problems, “but things seem really bad.”
Despite Lopez’s public statements and declarations of her love for Affleck, the two are said to be going through marital disputes.
Contact first reported that the couple was headed for divorce. Since then, many reports and allegations have emerged pointing to the couple’s decline.
ONE Everybody Magazine sources revealed that Affleck and Lopez’s marriage is “not in the best shape” at the moment. The source said that the conflict seems to stem from differences in expressing their love for each other.
According to the source, Lopez “likes to open up to her fans and to the world.” This is in stark contrast to Affleck, who is “more introverted and private”. Affleck opened up about his romantic side in Lopez’s recent documentary, The greatest love story never told.
“When we got back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a social media relationship,’” Affleck said in the documentary. “Then I realized it wasn’t fair to ask. It’s like if you’re getting married to a captain and you say, ‘Well, I don’t like water.'”
Lopez’s earnest efforts to make the marriage work may also have failed as Affleck reportedly realized he didn’t want to marry her in the first place.
