The “Jenny From the Block” singer tied the knot two decades after splitting from her previous relationship in the early 2000s. Their divorce papers reportedly show they’ve been separated since April.

New information suggests Lopez’s emotions are running high, especially after trying desperately to save the marriage while Affleck’s commitment faded.
An insider revealed to People magazine that the couple has a more optimistic outlook after the split and is slowly adjusting to the new reality.
Lopez is said to still feel “very blessed” despite feeling “a little bitter”, despite posting that she is “at peace”.
They added, “She tried so hard to make things work but Ben just didn’t care.”

“She was surrounded by family, friends and children. She always tried to have a positive outlook. The divorce was hard on her, but she always found a way to move forward.”
Meanwhile, the “Good Will Hunting” actor is said to be doing well and is currently looking upbeat following Lopez’s divorce filing.
“He’s where he wants to be: close to his kids and in a neighborhood he loves,” the insider said, adding that he’s slowly moving into his newly purchased bachelor pad.
“He also loves to work and is very focused on the positive.”

News of the exes’ stance comes after it was revealed that Lopez’s best friend warned her about marrying Affleck.

Speculation arose when Leah Remini was absent from Lopez’s wedding, with insiders suggesting a rift occurred after the “All I Have” singer reconciled with the “Batman v. Superman” actor and exchanged vows.
A source told the New York Post that a disagreement broke out between the two women just before their 2022 wedding after Remini confronted Lopez about her reservations about Affleck, shedding light on the reason behind their previous split.
They continued, “Because he is selfish and not fully committed as a partner.”
Another insider revealed in May that Remini wanted to mend her friendship with Lopez amid rumors they were getting divorced at the time.
“They’ve been friends for years. She wants to reach out to her, but she can’t just call and say, ‘I told you so.’ JLo was so angry that she cut off all ties.”
