early life
Jo-Anne Reyneke was born in Vereeniging, Gauteng, to a black Zulu mother and a white father.
She and her siblings were raised by a single parent in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

Jo-Anne Reyneke attended Russell High School (Pitermaritzburg) where she developed an interest in drama and performance expression.
After registration, she entered Durban Film Technology Film and Television School to study acting and music.

In 2013, while working at Muvhango and Rhythm City, Jo-Anne Reyneke appeared in two scenes of the SABC1 drama series Intersexions, playing the role of Layla.
From 2015 to 2017, Jo-Anne Reyneke played Busi Duma in seasons 2 and 3 of the SABC3 TV series High Roller. Later, from April 2017 to April 2018, she appeared in the TV series “Broken Vows” on e.tv.
She plays Tandy. They worked with the Moswani family’s little girl and senior wedding organizers from private company Yours Truly Concepts.
