As a lonely parent dealing with the simple demands of a new position and raising two children, Joanne Reineke had little opportunity to slow down and rest.

“I leave before the kids wake up and come home when they’re asleep. Most of the time, I need to figure out why mom isn’t home,” says the host of the hit show “Single Parents Looking for Love.”

Jo-Anne Reyneke has been single since her very public separation from ex-boyfriend Thami Mngqolo. Two years ago, it seemed like they had it all: a thriving career, a caring family and a bright future.

She had wanted to grow old with Thami Mngqolo and watch their children thrive, but that’s when it all fell apart.

There are reports of previous generations of heartbreakers having affairs, but Joanne Reinecke won’t delve into the sordid subtleties.
