early life
South African actress Jocelyn Broderick was born on June 23, 1962.
She graduated from the University of Natal-Pietermaritzburg with a BA in Drama and English.
She then went on to join the English and Afrikaans drama associations of the now-defunct performing arts group PACT.
She has devoted her career to creating new works and ensembles and conducting creative workshops, such as launching Momentum Theatre at the then National Theatre and composing the music for the award-winning Total Claim with Didi Kriel.
She coordinated the music for the opening of Momentum and the supper club Café Decadenza.
After three years with PACT Super Durable, Jocelyn Broderick struck out on her own.
