Joe Budden has fully addressed charges accusing him of inappropriate behavior outside his neighbor’s door after he recently cleared the case.
The rapper-turned-podcaster addressed the issue on his latest page Joe Budden’s podcastexplains how he beat reported lewdness and stalking charges.
According to the report, the incident was recorded by a doorbell camera on December 4, 2024, showing Budden, 44, trying to break into his neighbor’s apartment while naked.
But Budden later explained that he was sleepwalking, a condition he has discussed openly before. On the podcast, he labeled the neighbors “racist” and claimed they made false reports to police.
“They said I was masturbating outside their door,” Budden revealed in the episode. Combination report. He added that the accusations escalated to suggestions that he intended to harm the neighbor or her family.

“It became a civil lawsuit,” he said, which is why he stepped away from his podcast for a month.
The neighbor also claimed that Budden was nude and “standing completely upright” in the video. However, Budden fired back, calling her claims exaggerated. He also accused his neighbor of crying “white girl tears” in the stands, calling her “Karen.”
“She lied on those paperwork that he was masturbating in front of my house, like I couldn’t find a million better places to masturbate than that,” he continued.
His attorney argued that Budden’s actions in the video did not meet the legal definition of lewdness, which requires intent to sexually gratify oneself.
To refute the testimony, Budden brought his girlfriend to testify. Her statement, in which she insisted he was not agitated, made Budden and his co-hosts laugh. “I’m a grower, not a bather,” he joked.

Ultimately, the judge sided with Budden: “Mr. Budden did not have an erection. He did not masturbate,” he said the judge declared while clearing him of the charges.
The ruling also noted that Budden appeared to be trying to conceal himself in the footage rather than behaving inappropriately.
Budden thanked the judge for being fair and reasonable throughout the case. He also reiterated that the accusations were an overreaction to what he described as a pathological condition.
“I just fell asleep in a place I shouldn’t have been,” Budden said, poking fun at the incident while emphasizing that the neighbor’s claims were baseless.
Despite the ordeal, Budden returned to his podcast with humor intact, treating the incident as another strange chapter in his life.
