Early life

Dorothea was born in New Jersey, United States, on September 29, 1962, to Dorothy Pawlyk and Donald Hurley.

She was educated at Sayreville War Memorial High School in Parlin, New Jersey. When he tried to cheat by looking at her work on a test at school, she met Bon Jovi, who had transferred there.

Later, Jon Bon Jovi asserted that the song “Bobby’s girl” was written for her and he has loved her since they first met.
