Joni Mitchell launches brutal attack on Donald Trump: ‘F**k Donald Trump’

Music legend Joni Mitchell didn’t hold back when it came to her thoughts on the US election.

During her first headlining concert in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl in 24 years on October 19, Mitchell made sure she emphasized the urgency of the upcoming election.

“Everybody get out and vote. This is an important election. I wish I could vote — I’m Canadian. I’m one of those terrible immigrants,” she told the crowd.

However, her words didn’t stop there as she had harsh words for Republican candidate Donald Trump after an audience member shouted insults at him.

“F–k Donald Trump!” she exclaimed.

Mitchell may also have been referring to YG’s 2016 song “FDT.”

“I love that song,” she added.

Her comments came after the singer-songwriter performed the politically charged title track from her 1985 album. dog eats dog for the first time since the year of release.

“Holy hope in hand / Evangelists and snakebite scammers / And big wig donors,” she sings before adding “like Donald Trump” to the song.

Mitchell’s concert wasn’t the only time she took the stage. She also performed on October 20. Both concerts were dubbed “Joni Jam.” Along with Mitchell, musicians and singers such as Brandi Carlile, Marcus Mumford, Annie Lennox, etc., took to the stage with her.

Mitchell isn’t the only singer to criticize Trump recently. Marc Anthony appeared in a Kamala Harris ad where he criticized the Republican nominee.

“I remember after Hurricane Maria devastated our island, Trump blocked billions of dollars in relief while thousands of people died. Remember when our families lacked clean water and electricity, Trump threw out the tissues and called Puerto Rico ‘dirty and poor,'” he said.

“He told us what he would do. He would separate children from their families and threaten to use the Army to do it. This election goes beyond political parties. We Let’s remember what America stands for and stands for: UNITED, no matter where we come from. I’m Marc Anthony and I remember that’s why I support Kamala Harris for President,” ca the doctor added.

Other notable names supporting Harris in the upcoming election are Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, etc
