Jordan Haworth Peele (born February 21, 1979) is a famous actor, comedian and film producer from the United States who goes by the stage name Jordan Peele.

He’s always been an incredibly talented filmmaker. With his 2017 Oscar-winning Get Out, however, he catapulted himself into the ranks of those we’ll be discussing in our Cinema History classes 200 years later.

Jordan Peele was born in New York City, United States, on February 21, 1979. Lucinda Williams, his mother, is white and has deep ties to the American colonies.

His father, Hayward Peele, is of African descent and a native of North Carolina. His single mother raised him on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

Jordan Peele attended the School of Computing before transferring to Sarah Lawrence College after receiving his diploma from Calhoun School on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in 1997.

After two years, Jordan Peele dropped out of school to star in a comedy with Rebecca Drysdale, a classmate of Sarah Lawrence, who later wrote the script for Key & Peele.

Jordan Peele regularly performs at Boom Chicago in Amsterdam and The Second City in Chicago. He and Nicole Parker are very famous for their musical efforts at Boom Chicago. He famously performed the part of Danish Supermodel Ute at Boom Chicago, and in 2002 he hosted MTV’s Comedy Weekend.

In 2003, Jordan Peele joined the cast of Mad TV for its ninth season. Around the time Keegan-Michael Key began to stand out among the group’s performers, it was expected that Keegan-Michael Key would be chosen over Jordan Peele. They eventually got a role thanks to their great comedic chemistry.
