Early life
Jorge Garcia was born in 1973 on April 28 in Nebraska, United States.
He is the son of Dora Messa, a Cuban professor, and Humberto Garcia, a Chilean physician.
He spent his childhood in the city of San Juan Capistrano in Orange County, California.
Jorge Garcia attended Clement High School and there he earned the nickname Baby-Faced Killer.
After graduating, he was awarded the Triton of the Year award.
To further his education, he earned a degree from the prestigious University of California in 1995.
He then went on to attend acting school.

Jorge Garcia is a widely acclaimed American actor, television personality, and comedian. He started out as Hector Lopez in the television show Becker. However, it was his role as Hugo Hurley Reyes in the television series Lost that brought him more fame.
Luckily, he became the first actor to join a television series. In 2012, he was cast in the popular Fox series; Alcatraz. He played Dr. Diego Soto, an expert on Alcatraz. He also guest starred in episodes of Hawaii Five-0 season 4 until he was promoted and became a regular cast member in season 5 as Jerry Ortega.
Jorge Garcia has appeared in numerous shows and co-produced and starred in the film When We Were Pirates, in which he played Jerry. He also hosts a weekly podcast with his then-girlfriend, Bethany Leigh Shady, where he discussed Season 6 of the series.
