For the next two years, she was a regular cast member on the sitcom ‘Three’s Company’ as Janet Wood. After the show ended, she appeared in an episode of ‘Finder of Lost Loves’, after which she took a break from acting for decades.
In 1991, Joyce DeWitt returned to the stage with a role in the Cherry County Playhouse production of ‘Noises Off.’ Four years later, she appeared in a television movie, ‘Spring Fling,’ in which she co-starred with James Eckhouse, Justin Burnette, Jason Hervey, and Pat Harrington Jr.
