When asked if he considered himself protective of the rising star at the time, the “Peaches” singer admitted: “Yeah, I definitely felt the need to protect her.”

During the interview, the music star expressed his support for the “Birds of a Feather” singer in a heartfelt, trembling voice, saying, “I just let her do what she wants, and if she needs me, I’ll be here for her.”
“If she [Billie] Whenever she needs me, I’ll be there for her… but, yeah, just protecting those moments because people take them for granted.”
Bieber also made his intentions clear when he revealed to Lowe, “I just want to protect her. I don’t want her to lose that. I don’t want her to go through anything that I went through.”
“I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. So if she needs me, I’m just a phone call away.”
