Kalen DeBoer began coaching at Washington High School in South Dakota and served as an assistant coach at the University of Sioux Falls from 2000 to 2004.
In 2005, DeBoer became the head coach of Sioux Falls and led the team to three NAIA Football National Championships: 2006, 2008 and 2009. His record as head coach in Sioux Falls is an impressive 58-6.
