Kate Bush is ready to make a big comeback 13 years after the release of “50 Words for Snow.”

“I’m really excited to start work on a new album,” Bush confessed in a recent conversation with BBC’s “Today.”

She added: “I have so many ideas. I’m really looking forward to getting back into that creative space. It’s been a while.”

While a new album may be on the horizon, the decorated singer admits she’s not ready to hit the stage just yet.

Her classic song “Running Up That Hill” had a resurgence in 2022 after being featured in the fourth season of “Stranger Things.” Its central theme revolves around the concept of negotiating with a higher power to exchange existence with others.

During its release in the 80s, it reached number 9 on the UK charts and eventually reached number 3. The song also became popular in the US, reaching the top 30.

News of a possible album launch follows the release of her short film to support children affected by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Today, on her website, the series four-minute animated film titled “Little Shrew” made its debut.

“I started working on it a few years ago, not long after the Ukraine war broke out, and I think it was a shock to all of us,” the singer said of the project.

“It was a long period of peace that we all experienced. And I just felt like I wanted to make a little animated movie that would initially have a little girl. It’s really the idea of children caught up in war. I wanted to draw attention to how terrible it is for children.”
