Early life and education

Kate Henshaw was born on July 19, 1971 in Cross River State, the eldest of four children. She is 52 years old.

She received her primary education at St. Mary’s Private School, Ajele, Lagos. Later, she attended the Federal Government College for Girls, Calabar for her secondary education.

Kate Henshaw studied for a year at the University of Calabar as a remedial student before majoring in Medical Microbiology at the School of Medical Laboratory Sciences at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).

She worked at the Bauchi State General Hospital. Before becoming an actress, Kate Henshaw was a model and appeared in various commercials, including print and television ads for Shield deodorant.
