Lead singer Evan Koga announced the breakup via Twitter in July 2012.
In 2013, Danny Fujikawa co-founded Lightwave Records with Delta Mirror frontman Chris Acosta. The company’s Facebook page announced that the company would provide a platform for artists to release music on their own terms. These albums include Delta Mirror’s “Better Unsung” and Danny Fujikawa’s “Cellophane Castle”, both released in 2013. The company also released a version of Ave Grave’s “Beloved Enemies”, which was first released by The Shimmies on July 27, 2010.
