Katlego Maboe is a well-known media personality who was born in Ikagen, South Africa on 29 October 1986. He was raised by his mother, Beauty Maboe, and grew up with his sister, Thato Maboe, in a small settlement outside Potchefstroom.

Katlego Mabo lived in Johannesburg with his then-girlfriend Monique Muller and their son Phoenix Katlego Mabo from 2018 to 2020. Although they were in a relationship during this time, their relationship fell into turmoil when Muller accused Mabo of infidelity and abusive behavior.
