On April 2, 2001, Jennifer Sims was killed in a car accident. After attending a party at Marilyn Manson’s house, she was driven home by another guest but left the house shortly afterwards, presumably to return to the party.
Her car collided with a row of parked cars on Cahuenga Boulevard in Los Angeles. She was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected from the car, dying at the scene.
An investigation revealed she was intoxicated and prescription medication was found in her car.
She was buried next to her daughter, Ava, at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in a funeral attended by family and friends, including Keanu Reeves, who served as a pallbearer.
